He completed his undergraduate education at Marmara University, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. With his thesis titled “Digital Video Technologies and New Production Possibilities in Cinema", he graduated in 2013 from the Master's Program at the same university. In 2017, he graduated from İstanbul University Radio, Cinema and Television doctorate program with his thesis "Comparison of Fiction Forms of Popular and Art Films in Recent Turkish Cinema" and received his doctorate degree. He holds international certificates from Berlinale Talents and Digital Video Production from New York University.
