He was born in Ankara in 1990. He completed his primary education at Private Aydın Anatolian College, his secondary education at Çankaya Primary School, and his high school education at Anıttepe High School. He graduated from Okan University, Department of Psychology with an "Honor Certificate". He completed his master’s degree in clinical psychology at Üsküdar University. In his thesis, he examined the "Relationship Between Decision-Making Processes and Cravings in Substance Addiction". In addition to his professional life, he studied theater at Müjdat Gezen Art Center. He also took diction lessons from Mehpare Çelik and Rüştü Asyalı. Within the scope of the "Train Your Brain, Renew Yourself" Project supported by the İSTİKA 2015 Innovative Istanbul Financial Support Program, he conducted clinical interviews and test applications within the scope of the project throughout January 2016. He completed "Holistic Psychotherapy Training" from Dr. Tahir Özakkaş (a 3-year, 1080-hour training consisting of theory, formulation and supervision steps including all psychotherapy schools), "Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy" training from Prof. Hakan Türkçapar, "Schema Therapy" training from Alp Karaosmanoğlu, "EMDR (Eye movement desensitization-reprocessing)" training from Emre Konuk and "Emotion-Focused Psychotherapy" training from Leslie Greenberg. He has also participated in many trainings, congresses and workshops. Considering that each client's mental structure, problems and needs are different, Aziz Görkem ÇETİN adopts the Holistic Psychotherapy approach, which is the integration of all psychotherapy techniques. He applies Dynamic Psychotherapies (Transference-Focused, Masterson, Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy, etc.), Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Psychotherapy and Relational Psychotherapy schools in his sessions. He is a member of the Turkish Psychological Association (TPD) and the Association of Psychotherapy Institute.
