Between 1982 and 1986, she studied at Marmara University, AEF Graphics Department. After graduating from ITU Institute of Social Sciences English Master's Program in 1989, she received various trainings on cartoon production in England between 1989-1994. In 1994, she briefly worked as 'Inbetweener' at Amblin Studio, the UK division of Universal Studios. During this period, she was also awarded the animation screening award of the Channel Four channel 'ITV Motor Mouth' program and was included in the MOMI Museum's 'Young Animators' selection list.
