Arif Aktuğ ERTEKİN, MD

Arif Aktuğ ERTEKİN graduated from Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1982, became a gynecology and obstetrician in 1991 and an associate professor ib 1998 at GATA Haydarpaşa Training and Research Hospital. He worked as a Clinical Chief and Deputy Chief Physician at Zeynep Kamil Gynecology and Pediatrics Training and Research Hospital between 2005-2011. He started to work as a professor at Uskudar University in 2011. He worked as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Deputy Head of the Department of Occupational Therapy, Midwifery and Child Development. Since 2017, he has worked as the Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Deputy Head of the Surgery Department at Aydın Adnan Menderes University. Currently he has started to work as a faculty member in Uskudar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since January 2022, he has been the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Head of the Occupational Therapy Department.

He can speaks English and has more than 170 articles, papers, translations and book chapters published in various international and national journals. All these studies have received more than 456 citations. He also took part in many scientific meetings as session chair and speaker.
