Vision
Since its establishment in 2013, Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Occupational Health and Safety Department aims to prevent occupational accidents and occupational diseases by providing trainings to protect the physical, mental and social health of employees. Our vision is to be a leading training center in its field, developing occupational health and safety standards at national and international level, producing innovative solutions and increasing social awareness. In line with the dynamics of the 21st century, we adopt a constantly self-renewing educational approach to train specialized professionals who increase safety and health in the workplace.
Mission
Our mission is to train experts who are equipped with up-to-date and scientific knowledge in the field of occupational health and safety, who are committed to ethical values, who have problem-solving skills, who can think analytically, and who can effectively manage risks in work environments. We aim to provide an academic education that will respond to the needs of our country and the world, raise awareness about occupational health and safety, and develop solution-oriented and innovative practices in the field. In this direction, we aim to lead projects that will benefit all segments of society by supporting interdisciplinary cooperation and research activities.
