Vision
The vision of our Occupational Therapy Department; Our aim is to enable our students to recognize and benefit from scientific knowledge in rehabilitation services for people and to take part in the development of creative solutions to important life events, both locally and globally, based on scientific and contemporary values. As the occupational therapy department, we aim to train individuals who have the capacity to synthesize information, have strong critical thinking, and respect individual differences and cultures.
Mission
Our Occupational Therapy Department is committed to helping students acquire the knowledge and skills that will enable them to take part in both scientific research and field studies. In order to fulfill this task, our department offers students with in-class and extra-curricular programs; critical thinking, professional competence on activities of daily living and basic knowledge and skills to specialize in different areas of occupational therapy.
Our Strategic Goals
Our Strategy Development planning in line with the objectives set in the establishment of our department is as follows:
- To prepare detailed curriculum for the formation of professional skills of students
- Analyzing the efficiency and satisfaction level of the courses and making general researches
- To provide world-class education to our students and to examine the internal and external factors that will affect this
- To coordinate the curriculum of our department and the preparation of certified training programs
- To increase the visibility of our department in national and international academic fields; monitor application results
- Developing intra-departmental coordination and consultancy services and collecting, analyzing and interpreting information and data related to performance
- Conducting capacity research within the department
- To prepare the evaluation report of the annual program
- To develop the performance and quality criteria of our department and to fulfill other duties to be given within this scope
