The research focus of the Neurobiology working group is to contribute to the elucidation of the molecular mechanisms of neurological diseases by identifying the genes and risk factors that cause neurological diseases. Our group primarily works on autism risk factors and genetic diagnosis of autism. It is planned to investigate metabolic pathways that may be associated with autism, identify genes, identify polymorphisms that can be used in the diagnosis of the disease, gene expression and whole exome sequencing studies.
