Nilgün Karasu was graduated from Balıkesir University Department of Biology Education in 2008. She completed her postgraduate education in Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department of Biology in 2015. Karasu works as research assistant in Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine Department of Medical Genetics between 2018-2021 and she completed her doctoral study in Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine Department of Medical Genetics in 2021. Dr. Karasu has many publications and studies in international refereed SCI-E journals on various topics regarding Cancer genetics, Immunogenetics, Neurogenetics, Cytogenetics, Hematological malignity and Single Gene Disorders. Dr. Karasu has been working as Assistant Professor in Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine (English) Department of Medical Genetics since 2022.
