Mission: Our mission is to equip individuals with robust critical thinking skills, practical knowledge, and social awareness, enabling them to create academic and sectoral content for the constantly evolving media industry. We aim to establish a strong theoretical framework that understands the evolving nature of media in the digital age, as well as a robust academic infrastructure that fosters collaboration with other disciplines in the social sciences.
Vision: The New Media and Communication Undergraduate Program strives to excel not only in the present but also in the future through its curriculum and educational initiatives. We aim to develop forward-thinking individuals who harness the potential of digital technologies for education and training. With a vision to achieve international recognition in communication studies, we equip our students to become skilled communication professionals for the media industry. Leveraging our strong academic team, advanced technical resources, and collaborative partnerships, we aim to establish a global presence. We are rapidly raising our department's profile through initiatives such as Erasmus exchange programs and international agreements, and we anticipate significant growth in the near future.
