MISSION
The mission of our department is to train qualified translators and interpreters who are fluent in English and Turkish and have a good command of the cultural background of both languages and capable of translating at national and international levels in fields such as literature, law, medicine, media and communication, political science, economy and international relations within the framework of scientific methods and in line with the requirements of the age and equipped with the knowledge and skills required by the profession with its experienced and scientifically competent academic staff, comprehensive program and strong infrastructure support of our university.
VISION
The vision of our department is to be an intellectually and culturally preferred department providing a high quality education and research in translation studies at national and international levels, and training translators and interpreters who will have a say in the future of the field.
