General Curriculum
The undergraduate program in forensic science offers a coherent curriculum that reflects our mission and goals and provides the student with the appropriate skills requisite for the bachelor’s degree. The curriculum ensures that each studdent obtain a thorough grounding in the natural sciences, build upon this background by taking a series of more advanced science classes and develop an appreciation of issues specific to forensic science through course work and laboratory-based instruction.
Courtroom testimony, introduction to criminal and civil law, criminal investigation and procedure, quality assurance, ethics, professional practice and evidence identification, collection, and processing are covered in the curriculum.
