Dear Students,The day and time information of the face-to-face make-up exams of the elective courses you have taken from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS) have been announced to the students this week by the course instructor. Our students need to contact the instructor of the course they took from FHSS. For detailed information, they should follow the announcements made/to be made by the instructor on STIX.It has been found appropriate for all students who request an excuse for the social elective courses they have taken from FHSS to take the exam on the day and time determined by the instructor of the course at FHSS.

2023-2024 Academic Year Fall Semester Midterm Exams;1. Exam overlapPlease fill out the attached form regarding your conflicting exam. You are required to take the exam of the course belonging to your department (the exam of the course taken below must be taken first) on the day and time of the exam. You are required to take the make-up exam of the course you take from the other department in the 12th week between 25-29 December 2023 at the time determined by the instructor of the course. When you take the exam of your department course on the day and time specified in the exam program, make sure that the form you fill in the attached form is signed by the exam proctor or the instructor of the course and do not forget to add the signed form to your Make-up Exam Request petition.2. Dear all,The "Orientation Program", prepared by our University for our first year students for the 2023-2024 academic year, was held for the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences on October 11, 2023, between 10:15 - 11:15 in the Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall. .Our faculty members from our faculty departments and our first-year students participated in the program.The program started with the informative presentation of our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Osman Çerezci and continued with the presentation of the academic staff. After the presentations of the Online Education System, Department of Health, Culture and Sports, Department of Corporate Communication, Department of Student Affairs, Department of Library and Documentation, Department of Career Center, Department of Digital Technologies and Software and Department of International Relations prepared for the first year students of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, a question and answer session was organized for each presentation.The Orientation Program was completed with a presentation on addiction.We welcome all our new students to our university and wish all our students success in the 2023-2024 academic year.
