2020-2021 ENGLISH COURSES EXEMPTION EXAM RESULTSTHE LETTER GRADES RECEIVED BY THE STUDENTS, WHO WERE SUCCESSFUL IN THE EXEMPTION EXAM, WILL BE RECORDED IN THE STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (OBS) BY THE STUDENT AFFAIRS AS THE ENGLISH COURSE GRADE IN BOTH TERMS. AFTER THE REGISTRATION OF YOUR GRADES TO OBS, YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR ENGLISH COURSES ON LMS AND YOU WILL BE EXEMPTED FROM ENGLISH LESSONS.STUDENTS, WHO COULD NOT GET A SUCCESSFUL GRADE IN THE EXEMPITON EXAM OR COULD NOT TAKE THE EXAM, WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE THE ENGLISH COURSES DURING THE FALL AND SPRING SEMESTER BY FULFILLING THE COURSE REQUIREMENTS AND TAKING THE MIDTERM AND FINAL EXAMS.THE EXAM RESULTS OF THE STUDENTS WHO HAD TAKEN AND FAILED THESE COURSES IN PREVIOUS YEARS AND THE EXAM RESULTS OF THE STUDENTS WHO WANT TO INCREASE THEIR PREVIOUS COURSE GRADES ARE INVALIDATED. THESE STUDENTS HAVE TO REPEAT THE COURSE THAT THEY HAD FAILED OR THE COURSE THEY WANT TO INCREASE THE GRADE OF.STUDENTS WHO HAVE ATTENDED AND SUCCESSED THE EXEMPTION EXAM BY GETTING ONE OF THE VALID GRADES, CANNOT REPEAT THE ENGLISH COURSES BY SUBMITTING A PETITION WITHIN THIS YEAR. IF THEY WANT, NEXT YEAR, THEY CAN CHOOSE THE COURSE AGAIN IN ORDER TO INCREASE THEIR GRADES.STUDENTS, WHO HAD A SYSTEMIC PROBLEM ON LMS DURING THE EXAM AND THOSE WHO CONTACTED US AND RECEIVED A REPLY, WILL BE TAKEN TO THE MAKE-UP EXAM ON LMS BETWEEN 15.00-19.00 ON 27th OCTOBER TUESDAY. 2020-21 Fall Semester Double Major and Minor Application ResultsTables regarding the Double Major and Minor application results are provided in the link below.ITBF/FHSS Double Major Application ResultsITBF/FHSS Minor Application ResultsNOTE: Students who qualified to register for Double Major and Minor programs in the English Programs and do not have a Certificate of English Proficiency, may attend to the Writing examination on 30 September 2020 and Speaking examination on 1 October 2020 conducted by the University Preparatory School. Announcement Regarding the Single Course Exam for Graduation (The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences )Students who have failed a single course even though they meet the requirements for graduation after Summer Semester, will be offered a single course exam according to the Article 32/1 of "Üsküdar University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Teaching Regulations". The students are required to submit their petition forms until 18 September 2020 related to the single course exam and they are also required to receive their advisors' approval with signature and submit their transcripts to the Faculty Secretariat.Students who are outside of Istanbul due to the pandemic may send their petitions via e-mail to the Faculty Secretariat until 18 September 2020. They are still required to receive their advisors' approval and submit their transcripts to the Faculty Secretariat.Single Course Examinations will be held between 28 September - 2 October 2020.Students who submit their petitions must contact the instructor of the course. The exams will be held on a date deemed appropriate by the instructor between 28 September - 2 October 2020."Single Course Exam: It is the exam given with the decision of the Board of Directors of the related unit, to the student who has failed a single course as a result of the make-up exams in order to graduate. The grade obtained in this exam replaces the course success grade."Single Course Examination Form
