  • Explains the causes and pathophysiological processes of diseases commonly encountered in society.
  • Explains the fundamental characteristics of microorganisms, the diseases they cause, and their mechanisms of action.
  • Explains the basic principles and procedures regarding the use of medical equipment and materials.

Clinical Practice and Professional Skills

  • Takes patient history (anamnesis), performs physical examinations, and orders necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Accurately evaluates and interprets laboratory tests and imaging results.
  • Formulates differential diagnoses based on physical examination, laboratory, and imaging results.
  • Manages the diagnosis and treatment of patients accurately and effectively through an evidence-based approach.
  • Administers appropriate interventions in situations requiring first aid and emergency medical care.
  • Refers patients to relevant specialties using a multidisciplinary approach when necessary.
  • Identifies the rehabilitation and palliative care needs of individuals in untreatable conditions.

  • Possesses knowledge of methods and strategies for health promotion and implements them.
  • Applies the principles of evidence-based medicine in clinical decision-making processes.
