History of Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine
Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine was established in 2019 in line with our university's deep academic background in health sciences and human-centered education approach. Our faculty aims to train physicians who embrace contemporary medical education, pioneer scientific research, adhere to ethical values, and are sensitive to society.
Admitting its first students in the 2019-2020 academic year, our faculty has demonstrated remarkable development in a short time since its establishment, with a strong teaching staff, modern educational infrastructure, and a comprehensive curriculum. Our educational approach is based on integrated and student-centered models, aiming to enable our students to gain professional competence by effectively combining basic medical sciences with clinical applications.
Our clinical training is conducted in collaboration with various public and private sector hospitals, primarily NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital, which is affiliated with our university. In addition, simulation laboratories, skills workshops, and applied training in multidisciplinary clinical areas develop our students' professional knowledge and skills as well as their ethical awareness.
Our faculty graduated its first students on July 7, 2025. This date marks not only a graduation but also a turning point where our vision came to life and our qualified physician profile took shape. Under the leadership of our Founding
