Aim of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences
Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences The main purpose of Üsküdar University is to organize undergraduate education in the field of Engineering Sciences, to direct undergraduate studies and projects by following scientific and technological developments, to direct students to advanced research on current issues, to train economically, socially and ethically conscious engineers, to specialize by developing research and innovation methods focused on health informatics, To educate students and contribute to engineering and information systems with a professional workforce, To provide an environment for students to conduct research and solve real-world problems, to contribute to interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies and practices, To develop effective learning, analytical thinking, leadership skills and engineering decision-making.
Vision of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences
The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences , which has an important place in the graduate education and research activities of Üsküdar University, which is one of the most distinguished educational institutions of Turkey in the age of science, continues its efforts to educate the scientists of our future with its distinguished scientific staff. It aims to maximize the benefit of modern computer sciences by encouraging its faculty and students' innovative research approach in solving a wide range of complex technological, medical and social problems and in application areas in different disciplines. By working in contemporary and still emerging fields, our graduates will be prepared to solve the exciting engineering problems of the future and to follow the latest developments in the rapidly changing field of engineering sciences. Our faculty operates in the light of the principles determined in accordance with the vision and mission determined by our University.
Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Departments
Departments include Forensic Sciences, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Bioengineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology and Genetics (English), Molecular Biology and Genetics (Turkish). A wide range of options can be offered in terms of double major and minor . Departments have a very rich elective course list and curriculum as a result of the opportunity to take courses from other departments.
Students enrolled in the undergraduate programs of the Faculty continue their course and thesis studies in accordance with the regulations to which they are bound. Students must complete their undergraduate education within the period specified in the regulations to which they are bound.
