Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Accreditation

Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Computer Engineering (English) and Industrial Engineering (English) Programs have been accredited by MÜDEK, the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Education Programs (MÜDEK), the only accreditation body in the field of engineering programs in Turkey, until September 30, 2027 and received the European Accreditation of Engineering Programs (EUR- ACE) label.

What is MÜDEK Accreditation?

MÜDEK is an independent and non-profit evaluation organization that operates to ensure the quality assurance of engineering undergraduate programs, evaluate educational processes and encourage improvements.

MÜDEK has been a member of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) since November 17, 2006 and the Washington Accord (WA) since June 15, 2011, and is one of the 15 agencies authorized to award the EUR-ACE label in Europe.

MÜDEK accreditation means the quality assurance and compliance of the education programs within the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of Üsküdar University with national quality qualification standards. Graduates of accredited programs will be entitled to receive the European Accreditation Network for Engineering Education "EUR-ACE Label", and will also have equivalence for all member countries of the Washington Accord (America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan and other European member countries). In this context, MÜDEK accreditation is a quality certificate that is valid not only on a national level but also on an international scale.

With this accreditation, Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences

  • Effectively implement the continuous improvement cycle stipulated by MÜDEK,
  • Program contents are regularly updated in line with student feedback, graduate monitoring studies, employer opinions and academic evaluation reports,
  • and has thus certified that it trains graduates equipped with the competencies required by the sector.
