Üsküdar University fosters a sustainable and socially beneficial research and development ecosystem centered on the production and dissemination of knowledge. All research activities are structured in line with the 2024–2028 Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.

Research Infrastructure and Resources
The Directorate of Research, Development, Innovation and Project Policies (ARGEYEP) provides comprehensive guidance for project development, grant applications, and research consultancy. Operating in coordination with all faculties and research centers, ARGEYEP supports initiatives ranging from graduate theses to international research collaborations.
The university’s research infrastructure includes:

- Specialized thematic research centers that are continuously improved and made accessible.
Continuous Monitoring and Improvement
All academic units collaborate with ARGEYEP in planning, executing, and monitoring research activities. Through this structure:

- Scientific publication performance is monitored regularly,
- Student participation in research and practical projects is encouraged,
- Institutional knowledge is expanded through publications such as patents, books, articles, and conference papers.
Academic Publications and International Visibility
Üsküdar University’s academic output is supported by both national and international publications. Journals published by academic units are indexed in various databases, enhancing global recognition. Students also contribute through applied projects and creative works, often earning awards in national and international competitions.
Regularly organized symposiums, panels, and international collaborations further strengthen the university’s global research visibility, while fostering sectoral interaction and knowledge exchange.
