They may also work in healthcare engineering applications or develop AI-based solutions for industrial firms, offering versatile career paths in both industry and research.
2. Faculty Administrative Structure And Functioning
Established in 2012, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Üsküdar University aims to cultivate young engineers and qualified scientists who can transform knowledge into technology and contribute to societal benefit.
Our students benefit from the advantages of our campus, located in the heart of Üsküdar and within easy reach of various transportation hubs. Academically, they have the opportunity to participate in numerous congresses, symposiums, conferences, and workshops organized within the university. Socially, they can join more than 60 student clubs and sports teams, enhancing their university experience.
Through various interdisciplinary activities, students can engage in cross-disciplinary studies, design personalized academic programs by choosing elective courses, and benefit from double major and minor degree opportunities.
Our education programs are fully compatible with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Students are encouraged to participate in international exchange programs and engage in national or international social responsibility projects.
The curricula of our nine departments, which offer programs in both English and Turkish, are designed by considering not only the professional requirements but also the future needs of society. Theoretical knowledge is reinforced through practical applications in modern laboratories.
Under the guidance of a distinguished academic staff, each program within the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences provides education at international standards. Graduates of the Molecular Biology and Genetics, Bioengineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Forensic Science, Chemical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering programs contribute significantly to the country’s scientific foundation and skilled workforce.
Our faculty collaborates with both domestic and international universities, as well as public and private institutions, developing joint projects and organizing technical visits and workshops to enrich students’ learning experiences.
We also host international students, creating a diverse and multicultural learning environment that fosters the exchange of ideas and perspectives. This international atmosphere, combined with our accredited programs, enables our graduates to pursue careers and further education opportunities anywhere in the world.
