F. MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The management system of Üsküdar University has been established in accordance with the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and the Regulation on the Academic Organization of Universities. It is designed to ensure that academic and administrative processes are carried out effectively, transparently, and accountably.

To ensure the effective digital monitoring and management of the University's quality assurance processes, the UKSPRO software system is utilized. This comprehensive platform supports a wide range of quality management activities, including document control, corrective and preventive actions, training management, and meeting organization. Through UKSPRO, all academic units of the University can efficiently access and manage the information and processes relevant to their responsibilities in a systematic and transparent manner.

Structure of Administrative and Management Units

The Rectorate is the highest administrative body of the University, under which the faculties, institutes, and vocational schools are organized. The administration of the academic units is carried out through the following organizational structure:

  • Dean: Responsible for academic and administrative management of the faculty.
  • Vice Deans: Support academic and administrative operations under the Dean.
  • Faculty Board: Composed of department chairs and elected faculty members; manages academic decisions.
  • Faculty Executive Board: Oversees administrative and operational decision-making.
  • Department Chairs: Supervise academic programs and educational activities.

Administrative Units

  • Faculty Secretaries: Coordinate academic and administrative processes, acting as rapporteurs during meetings.
  • Clerical and Archive Staff: Assist in documentation and administrative support.

Resource Management

The university prioritizes the planned, efficient, and effective use of all academic and administrative resources, including human, financial, and physical assets. Resource management is coordinated among relevant directorates and departments.

Information management follows the principles of accessibility and data security. Students, academic staff, and administrative personnel can access reliable information through:

  • OBS (Student Information System)
  • BBS (Bologna Information System)
  • STIX (Learning and Communication Platform)
  • ALMS (Learning Management System)

These systems are continuously updated to enhance user satisfaction and digital accessibility.

Quality of Outsourced Services

Outsourced services are planned and managed through the Electronic Document and Archive Management System (EBYS), ensuring procedural compliance and quality assurance in every service procured.

Public Communication and Transparency

All scientific, cultural, and institutional activities are shared with the public through the university’s official website, social media channels, and departmental pages. Transparency and stakeholder engagement are core principles in all communication efforts.

Effectiveness and Accountability in Management

Academic and administrative activities are regularly monitored by the University Senate, Executive Board, and Quality Commissions.

Key data sources for institutional accountability include:

  • Employee and student feedback surveys,
  • Student Support Center (Çözüm Merkezi) applications,
