The Computational Biology and In silico Studies Group uses various bioinformatics tools to identify genes involved in diseases (especially neurodegenerative diseases and cancer) and/or important cellular pathways, to identify gene-gene interactions, to predict polymorphisms that may affect the structure and function of proteins that are the products of genes, and to model proteins structurally.
