Molecular Biology and Genetics (Turkish) - Academic Activities

Üsküdar University 2023-2024 Academic Year opening will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 10:30. The ceremony will begin with the speeches of Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör. The first lecture of the new academic year will be given by TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal.We would be pleased to have all our students participate.

A program called "Green Transformation Animal Rights and Veganism Summit in the World of Science" will be organized by the Molecular Biology and Genetics Club under the leadership of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, on Saturday, December 09, at 10:30 in the Central Campus A Block Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall. Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk, Melike Dirikoç from Vegan Earth, Dr. Kaya Bilgüvar, Dietician Bilge Sever, Dr. Ayşenur Çetinkaya Yıldırım, Funda Uğraş, Gizem Kalak and Dr. İlter Yenidede will also participate in the program to make his presentations. Elevator Pitch: Molecular Biology and Genetics StudentsMolecular Biology and Genetics (MBG) students presented their project ideas, developed within the scope of Special Topics in Bioengineering course given by Dr. Ayla Arslan in 2022-2023 Fall semester. Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Osman Çerezci, Vice Rector and MBG faculty member Prof. Muhsin Konuk and MBG Faculty Member Dr. Çiğdem Sezer Zhmurov were the judges to evaluate the students’ biotech business ideas. As a result of the oral presentations given in the 'elevator pitch' format, which must be completed within 1 minute, the presentation 'Labofix' won the first place.
