Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication, which started education in 2013-2014 academic year with three departments: Communication Sciences, Advertising Design and Communication, New Media, continues education with 7 undergraduate programs: New Media and Communication, Advertising, Journalism, Radio, Television and Cinema, Visual Communication Design, Public Relations and Publicity, Cartoon and Animation.
Education at the Faculty of Communication
Education at Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication is completed in a total of five years, with one year of optional English preparatory education and four years of undergraduate education. Students who do not want to take English preparatory education complete their undergraduate education in four years.
The curriculum of Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication, which provides four years of undergraduate education apart from English preparatory education, has been prepared for the student to have a solid intellectual foundation and to gain the necessary professional knowledge. In the first two years of undergraduate education at Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication, general scientific formation courses are given predominantly, and in the next two years, vocational courses required by the department in which the student is studying are emphasized. Thus, at the end of four years, the student has both a solid intellectual formation in the field of communication and the necessary professional knowledge and equipment.
