The focus of the group's activities and research efforts this year is on the topic of isolation. For this purpose, department seminars and an interdisciplinary international conference will be held on the subject, which will examine the social dimensions of loneliness, which is increasing rapidly with the phenomena of modernization and urbanization in the world and Turkey, in a multidimensional and layered manner. In addition, current questions of Turkish sociology are among our research topics.
