Founded in 2011 as Turkey's first university in the field of Behavioral Sciences and Health, Üsküdar University's Social Sciences Institute (SOBE) was established in the same year and offers graduate programs in various fields of psychology, neuromarketing and communication.
Goals of the Graduate School of Social Sciences
The Institute of Social Sciences aims to train scientists who will have a career in the academic world and people who have the necessary skills and competencies according to the changing conditions of the world. The Institute aims to include all candidates who are always dynamic, innovative and who want to have the qualities that will make them successful anywhere in the world in the education and training process. The Institute of Social Sciences aims to train experts who will advance in academic career steps, who can work in leading institutions in Turkey and the world, who can develop their careers in their institution(s) and to provide students with expertise equivalent to the world's well-known graduate programs.

Practice and Internship Opportunities
Clinical Psychology and Applied Psychology Master's programswithin the Institute of Social Sciences ; Üsküdar University NP Etiler Medical Center, NP Feneryolu Medical Center and NPISTANBUL Brain Hospital provide students with the opportunity to train in the field and have the necessary equipment. The teaching staff of the programs consists of NPISTANBUL Brain Hospital doctors and psychologists.
