Accreditation Success from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
As a result of the efforts carried out at the Uskudar University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in line with our commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement and student-centered education, four programs within our Faculty have achieved a significant accreditation success.

Our Faculty's Department of Sociology and Department of Philosophy, having successfully completed the evaluation process conducted by the Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Programs in Faculties of Science, Letters, Science and Letters, Language and History-Geography, FEDEK, have been awarded full accreditation for 5 years, valid from 02.04.2026 to 30.09.2031. |
This success demonstrates that the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has strengthened its quality of education, program competencies, student-centered approach, assessment and evaluation processes, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement mechanisms in line with national quality standards.
Uskudar University regards quality as a continuous journey of development placed at the heart of its institutional culture. In line with this understanding, our faculty regularly monitors and improves its educational programs not only within the framework of current academic standards but also in light of changing societal needs, scientific developments, stakeholder expectations and the principles of quality assurance in higher education.
The accreditation processes enabled our programs to be reviewed by independent external evaluation mechanisms, with a comprehensive assessment of curriculum structure, program outcomes, academic staff, student support services, alumni relations, internal and external stakeholder engagement, the quality assurance system and continuous improvement practices. The successful completion of these processes means that the quality of our faculty's education in the humanities and social sciences has been certified at the national level.
For our students, accreditation is not merely a quality certificate; it is an important assurance that the program in which they study is evaluated, monitored and continuously improved according to defined standards. For our graduates, the accreditations received are a valuable indicator that makes the quality of their education visible and provides institutional confidence throughout their academic and professional development.
