The management system of Uskudar University is structured in accordance with Higher Education Law No. 2547 and the “Regulation on Academic Organization in Universities,” and aims to ensure that academic and administrative processes are carried out in an effective, transparent, and accountable manner. The UKSPRO software system is used to enable effective digital monitoring of the university’s quality processes. This comprehensive system covers a wide range of parameters, from document tracking and the control of corrective and preventive actions to training management and meeting organization. Thanks to UKSPRO, which ensures that all these processes are carried out and monitored regularly and transparently under the relevant headings, all academic units of our university can access the areas they need easily and quickly.
Structure of Management and Administrative Units
The Rectorate is the university’s highest management unit, and faculties, graduate schools, and vocational schools are organized under this structure. Academic units are managed through the following institutional structures:
In Graduate Schools
Director: Holds administrative and academic responsibility for the graduate programs conducted at the graduate school.
Graduate School Board: Chaired by the Director; consists of department heads and faculty member representatives.
Graduate School Executive Board: Chaired by the Director, it contributes to decision-making processes together with elected members.
Bodies of the Graduate School: The Graduate School Director, the Graduate School Board, and the Graduate School Executive Board.
Graduate School Director: Appointed by the Rector for three years upon the recommendation of the dean of the relevant faculty. In graduate schools affiliated with the Rectorate, this appointment is made directly by the Rector. A director whose term has expired may be reappointed. The Rector and the dean hold the necessary consultations with the relevant faculty members regarding recommendations and appointments. The Director has at most two deputies, appointed for three years from among the salaried teaching staff working at the graduate school. The Director may replace the deputies when necessary. When the Director’s term ends, the deputies’ terms also end.
The procedure for acting on behalf of the Director or when the directorship becomes vacant is the same as for deans. The Graduate School Director performs, with respect to the graduate school, the duties assigned to deans by Law No. 2547.
Graduate School Board: Chaired by the Director; consists of the deputy directors and the heads of departments at the graduate school.
Graduate School Executive Board: Chaired by the Director; consists of the deputy directors and three faculty members elected for three years by the Graduate School Board from among six candidates nominated by the Director.
Graduate School Board and Graduate School Executive Board: They perform, with respect to the graduate school, the duties assigned to the faculty board and the faculty executive board by Law No. 2547.
Administrative Staff
Unit Secretaries (Faculty/Graduate School/Vocational School): Coordinate academic and administrative processes and attend meetings as rapporteurs.
Correspondence and Archive Specialist/Assistant: Provides support within the secretary’s area of responsibility.
Resource Management
Our university is committed to the planned, effective, and efficient use of all academic and administrative resources. The management of assets such as human resources, financial resources, hardware, software, and movable and immovable property is carried out in coordination with the relevant departments.

- OBS

- STIX
- ALMS
These systems operate under the control of the relevant administrative units and are continuously improved with a focus on user satisfaction.
Quality of Externally Provided Services
The procurement of external services is planned through the Electronic Document and Archive Management System (EBYS) upon the request of the relevant academic unit. Requests are evaluated by the relevant units.
Informing the Public
All scientific, social, cultural, and institutional activities carried out at our university are shared with the public through the official web pages and social media channels of the relevant academic units and the university homepage. Stakeholder communication processes are carried out carefully within the framework of the principles of openness and transparency.
