It conducts interdisciplinary research focusing on the applications of nanotechnology in biology-related fields (medicine, agriculture, environment, etc.). This field, which aims to transform nanoscale structures into products with biology-based methods and to develop transport and distribution systems, enables the development of innovative solutions based on nanotechnology. Our working group focuses on early diagnosis of diseases, targeted drug delivery systems, environmental improvement technologies and projects aimed at increasing efficiency in agricultural applications. Thus, it both contributes to basic scientific understanding and offers applicable solutions in critical areas such as health, agriculture and the environment.
