Research Focus

The aim of the working group is to promote scientific research in the fields of health and safety within the community and in the workplace, to support national and international project work, to carry out educational and awareness-raising activities, and to strengthen cooperation among relevant stakeholders.

The working group’s key objectives are to increase the output of scientific publications and projects, develop interdisciplinary research activities, contribute to the dissemination of a health and safety culture, and enhance our university’s academic visibility in this field. As there is currently no such group among the existing working groups, the establishment of the ‘Health and Safety Working Group’ is of great importance. Research focus areas include occupational health and safety, healthcare services, risk assessment and management, working life, employee health and well-being, emergency and crisis management, human factors, ergonomics, occupational therapy, safety culture, the assessment of psychosocial risks, the identification of occupational diseases, the fight against addiction, cyber security, and other current research topics related to health and safety training.
