Forensic Physics Laboratory

Forensic Sciences, which produces scientific solutions to the questions and problems of the law related to physical evidence, within the scope of basic sciences, through means, capabilities and experiments, benefits from various branches such as physics, chemistry, biology, pathology, toxicology (poison science), genetics. Physics is a must for forensic sciences.

Üsküdar University, which launched Turkey's first forensic sciences education at undergraduate level, aims to ensure that graduates will be able to work as expert personnel in criminal laboratories and in public and private institutions and organizations that will work with all kinds of criminal evidence, unlike physics education in engineering faculties.

By physically examining and evaluating the material evidence obtained during judicial and administrative investigations, many different evaluations and examinations are carried out in laboratory conditions by making use of developing technologies in order to provide technical support in detecting and proving the crime and criminal.
