Our University, which grows by increasing its experience and equipment in the field of Behavioral and Health Sciences every year, has become an institution that raises competent, dynamic and professional health scientists for our country.
The Faculty of Dentistry, which started education in the 2021-2022 academic year, aims to add new dimensions to the classical definition of the dentistry profession with its unique perspective, approaches and educational programs. The Faculty of Dentistry, which will create the balance between "being human, being a good physician and being happy" with the support of Üsküdar University's rich accumulation, aims to train future dentists, not contemporary dentists.
Our institution, which includes both Üsküdar University Dental Hospital and Üsküdar University Faculty of Dentistry, aims to offer technology as a powerful tool to improve the well-being of patients with our human-centered approach by providing our students not only technical skills but also humanity and empathy with its highly technological and equipped infrastructure.
Our courses in our education program include all the knowledge and competencies required for dentists graduating from European countries and are implemented as an education program in accordance with the National Core Education Program-2024 (Duçep-2024).
During the 5-year undergraduate dental education, basic medical theoretical education and preclinical education that reinforces the theoretical knowledge of laboratories and field knowledge are given in the first 3 years.
Starting from the beginning of the 4th grade, 2 years of clinical training is started under the supervision of faculty members in 8 departments.
