Occupational Therapy Application Unit

It is a practical application laboratory organized for the students of the Department of Occupational Therapy to practice starting from Term 1. The application of many versatile courses related to occupational therapy will be realized. It is a laboratory that allows the practical application of sensation, perception, integration, evaluation and measurement in occupational occupation, applications of occupational therapy-specific tests, self-care activities in the home setup. For the students of our university, art education courses for occupation and therapy such as marbling, art therapy, traditional art workshop and painting workshop are also given in this application unit. Fine motor skills training, balance and coordination, dyslexia training and play and therapy equipment that can be applied in early childhood development period will be realized in this laboratory to contribute to students' knowledge before clinical practice.
