Modern Foreign Language Courses

VISION

Our vision is to ensure that our students have the foreign language skills necessary for their academic and professional activities in their departments and in their lives, as well as to become self-confident and innovative individuals with developed communication skills.

MISSION

To provide our students with a student-centered, innovative and dynamic language education that includes modern language teaching approaches and critical thinking methods in order to improve the language skills acquired at the English Preparatory School and to ensure the acquisition of academic and professional communication skills in the target language, and to provide basic language skills for our students whose English level is below the proficiency level so that they can continue their undergraduate education without major difficulties.

We also offer elective foreign language courses to enable our students to learn a second foreign language so that they can use it effectively in their post-graduation life and in international environments.

COURSES

The department offers elective language courses for undergraduate students studying in faculty departments. These elective courses include German, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Italian and Japanese.

It aims to provide students with the basic language skills to learn a second foreign language and use it in their academic or social life. The department runs a two-semester program. These elective courses are included in the curriculum pool of all faculties, and courses are opened if at least 20 students choose them.
