Dr. Maria Pia Ester Cristaldi completed her education in the field of Communication and Linguistic Sciences in Italy Calabria University in 2014. She completed her doctoral thesis titled ‘An Analysis on Institutionalization of Turkish Language on Ottoman and Early Republic Newspapers’ in Marmara University in 2021. She worked as research after the doctorate degree in the field of Digital Humanities Sciences in Bologna University in 2022.
She has been working as assistant professor in Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Department of New Media and Communication since 2023. Her research subjects mainly focus on communication and language, history of press, press in other languages, language and communication sociology, and text mining in digital humanities.
