Students who have earned the right to final registration from the principal and waiting lists for the 2026–2027 Fall Semester are required to come to the Student Affairs Office located at the Çarşı Campus with the original copies of their application documents. After completing the "Registration Form" and submitting the documents listed below, they must complete their procedures at the Accounting Office located at the Central Campus.

This examination replaces the Final Examination.

Students who have earned the right to final registration from the principal list, and students from the waiting list who subsequently become eligible for registration based on the registration status of the principal-list students, are required to come to the Science Institute Secretariat, 3rd Floor, Çarşı Campus, with the original copies of their application documents. After completing and having the relevant form signed, they must proceed to the Student Affairs Office and then complete their procedures at the Accounting Office.

During the 2026–2027 Fall semester, no science examination will be held for thesis or non-thesis programs.

For thesis programs, the evaluation will be based on 65% of the Quantitative ALES score and 35% of the undergraduate GPA.

For non-thesis programs, the evaluation will be based on 50% of the undergraduate GPA and 50% of the relevant ALES score, if available.

Applicants to non-thesis programs who do not have an ALES score will be ranked by accepting their ALES score as 55.

In accordance with the Graduate Education and Training Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated November 22, 2019, the definition of a special student has been revised.
A special student is defined as a student who is enrolled in another graduate program and takes courses from a graduate program at our institute.
Applications of candidates who do not apply online, have not graduated at the time of application, or do not upload their ALES certificate and identity information to the application system during the application process will be considered invalid.
In addition, under the new regulation, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) may grant universities the right to increase quotas according to the number of faculty members. Accordingly, we have applied for an increase in quotas for all of our graduate programs. If our application is approved, the newly determined quotas will be announced.

Students whose bachelor's degree is in a field other than Computer Engineering will be required to complete one Scientific Preparation course during the coursework period.

Who Can Apply?
Graduates of the Faculty of Engineering, and graduates of Bachelor's programs in Mathematics and Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and Space Sciences, and similar Science-Mathematics and Teacher Education programs may apply.
Applicants whose bachelor's degree is in a field other than Computer Engineering or Software Engineering will be required to attend the Scientific Preparation Program determined by the Department of Computer Engineering and the Graduate School Administrative Board.
This program, in which fundamental Computer Engineering courses are offered, must be completed within a maximum of two semesters.
What Are the Admission Requirements?
During the 2026–2027 Fall semester, no science examination will be conducted for thesis or non-thesis programs.
For thesis programs, 65% of the relevant ALES score and 35% of the undergraduate GPA will be taken into consideration.
For non-thesis programs, 50% of the undergraduate GPA and 50% of the relevant ALES score, if available, will be taken into consideration.
Applicants to non-thesis programs who do not have an ALES score will be ranked by accepting their ALES score as 55.
The quota is 15 students for the Thesis Program and 30 students for the Non-Thesis Program.
For English master's degree programs, an English language proficiency certificate is required.
For programs conducted in English or another foreign language, candidates must meet the required foreign language proficiency level as well as any additional criteria proposed by the relevant Graduate School Administrative Board, approved by the Senate, and announced to applicants.
Prospective students may submit TOEFL iBT, YDS, e-YDS, or take the English Proficiency Examination organized by Üsküdar University at designated periods throughout the year.
