Our Department of Sociology, which offers education within the Uskudar University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, has successfully completed the comprehensive evaluation process conducted by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Programs in Faculties of Science, Letters, Science and Letters, Language and History-Geography (FEDEK) and has been accredited for a period of 5 years.
This decision demonstrates that our programs meet national accreditation standards in terms of teaching quality, academic staff structure, student-centered approach, assessment and evaluation processes, continuous improvement efforts, and quality assurance systems.
What Is FEDEK Accreditation?
FEDEK is a national quality assurance organization that independently evaluates and accredits the educational quality of programs in Faculties of Science, Letters, Science and Letters, Language and History-Geography. FEDEK is one of the authorized organizations recognized by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) that contribute to quality assurance efforts in higher education.
