First Touch to the Miracle Club

About Us
The First Touch to the Miracle Club is a student club established to support midwifery students in their professional, academic, social and personal development and to strengthen solidarity, communication and team spirit among students.
In addition to accompanying the arrival of a baby into the world, midwifery is an important health profession that supports women's health at every stage of life and contributes to family and public health. With this understanding, our club places at its center the values of love, trust, knowledge and responsibility embodied in the “first touch.”
Our club aims to create a platform that enables students to develop their professional knowledge and skills, follow current scientific developments, acquire a research culture and become closely acquainted with evidence-based midwifery practices.
In addition, we place importance not only on academic and professional development but also on students' socialization, communication with different health disciplines, development of social responsibility awareness, and a more active and productive university life.
The First Touch to the Miracle Club aims to contribute to training future midwives not merely as individuals who practice their profession, but as health professionals who research, produce, communicate, contribute to society, uphold ethical values and are able to shape their profession.

Our Mission
•To develop the professional knowledge, skills and competencies of midwifery students.
•To support scientific thinking and a research culture.
•To raise the importance of evidence-based midwifery practices.
•To raise awareness of women's, newborn, family and public health.
•To contribute to students' development as individuals committed to ethical principles, human rights and professional values.
•To support the recognition of the midwifery profession at the national and international levels.
•To strengthen solidarity, communication and teamwork among students.
•To promote multidisciplinary collaboration with other health disciplines.
•To ensure that students take an active role in social responsibility activities for the community.
•To help students embrace the concept of lifelong learning.

Our Vision
The First Touch to the Miracle Club aims to be a pioneering student club that contributes to the training of midwives who embrace a scientific, ethical and evidence-based approach to midwifery; who contribute to improving women's, newborn, family and public health; and who research, produce, share and develop leadership qualities.
Our vision is to be an innovative and sustainable student community that represents midwifery students on national and international platforms; brings together professional development, scientific production, social responsibility and student solidarity; and creates space for ideas that will shape the future of the midwifery profession.
