In order to achieve their strategic goals, to be more effective in their fields of activity, to produce benefits for all their stakeholders and the ecosystem in which they operate, and to gain agility in responding to change, organizations have internal development and improvement activities - based on people, culture, system and process. These studies can be evaluated under three separate headings; 1) Quality Management Systems, 2) Production Management Development Methods, 3) Organizational Management Tools. From a broader perspective, it may be possible to combine all the models mentioned in points 1 and 2 under heading 3. These include models designed to design the structure, functioning and culture of organizations.

No matter how well designed these "integrated management systems" are, there are problems with their internalization/ assimilation by enterprises and employees in Turkey. Since most models do not offer a common understanding that is compatible with the employees' own cultural references and perspectives, it is difficult for employees and managers to adapt. For this reason, although these systems are used uniformly as a management tool in most enterprises, they cannot be transformed into organizational culture in daily life, and it is difficult for people to establish a meaningful connection. Therefore, in the simplest terms, competencies, which are the sets of behaviors that every organization looks for in its employees, can be planned in accordance with the basic concepts and behavioral models of the culture in which employees are raised. The "Business and Work Ethics" group has come together to work on establishing the connection of these systems with spirituality and cultural codes in terms of philosophy, content language and application formats. Between January and July 2021, 10 workshops were organized to clarify the foci of study, and the foci of study were structured around 15 seminars, some of which were based on graduate studies and/or professional consultancy experience carried out at the Institute.
