The Radio Studio, located on the 4th floor of Üsküdar University Central Campus, is a meeting point for students interested in radio broadcasting. Students can make radio programs, record audio recordings and invite guests to the studio.
Purpose of the Radio Studio
The radio studio is designed to provide practical radio education to students of all departments of our university, especially the relevant departments of the Faculty of Communication. In addition to being a practical training area for the courses of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema such as Digital Radio, Radio Broadcasting and Radio Journalism, it also hosts the activities of various student clubs, especially the Radio Club.
Possibilities of Using the Radio Studio
It broadcasts 24 hours a day uninterrupted alternative music and programs over the internet at radio.uskudar.edu.tr. 32 kbps, stereo and acc format broadcast quality. Stereo, 3 narrow angle microphones are used. Broadcast streams are provided by the automation system. Broadcasting in pop music style, UU Radio focuses on youth, culture and education programs.
