Most anatomy instructors agree that there is no educational material that can replace the experience gained in cadaver dissection.
What is learned in the dissection hall is quite different and valuable from what can be learned from the best anatomy lecture or book. A medical student who dissects on a real cadaver will have the privilege of being able to touch and feel the organs and tissues they see in books or atlases.
Üsküdar Medical Faculty offers our students the opportunity to dissect real cadavers in a warm and healthy working environment. Our cadavers, taxidermized and selected with the most modern methods, are renewed every year for the education of our students.
Our dissection laboratory is configured not only for anatomy education but also for clinically relevant anatomical research and clinical training courses.
