Preclinical Laboratory

Students studying in Üsküdar Vocational School of Health Services Oral and Dental Health Technician and Dental Prosthesis Technician programs take practical courses in the Preclinical Laboratory of our University's Health Campus.
Students' ability to gain skills and access professional knowledge as a requirement of education is completed with applied laboratory studies. In this regard, the laboratory equipped with the most modern, suitable for human health and equipped with the latest modern system tools and equipment has been put into operation. In this laboratory, our students receive practical training in technical subjects and acquire the knowledge and manual skills to assist the dentist and carry out dental prosthesis, maxillofacial prosthesis and orthodontic prosthesis studies. During the studies, all kinds of measures are taken above the occupational health and safety standards and the health of the students is given importance.
In the Preclinical Laboratory, which allows 80 students to work at the same time, it is easier for each student to learn and practice by watching the educational applications on their private screens. All equipment required in the Preclinical Laboratory is provided for each student. The instructor's work on the robot patient is reflected on the screen at the same time. In addition, casting, leveling and prosthesis making units in the laboratory allow students to learn by practicing the entire production process at the same time. All tools and equipment in the laboratory are of the highest standards and most successful brands recognized worldwide.
