OBJECTIVES:

a) a) Prevention of adverse drug effects due to ineffectiveness of the drug due to genotypic, phenotypic characteristics or insufficient dose or excessive dose within the scope of the Center's rational drug application.

b) Prevention of wrong and unnecessary use of medicines.

c) Conducting and supporting research and applications related to the subject.

FIELDS OF ACTIVITY:

a) Investigating the effects of single nucleotide differences (SNP) in individuals on metabolism.

b) Measuring the activities of enzymes that metabolize drugs commonly used in phenotyping studies.

c) Organizing seminars, conferences, television programs and similar activities outside the University to promote the activities of the Center to the public and inform the public.

ç) To support students, educators, professional persons and institutions who will conduct research and investigation studies.

d) To carry out and support education, research and application activities in line with the objectives of the Center.

e) To organize congresses, symposiums, workshops, panels, seminars and conferences related to the field.

f) To provide research, examination, consultancy and similar services to public institutions and organizations and the private sector on issues within the field of study of the Center.

g) To develop and implement research and research programs that will produce the information needed by students studying in other faculties and units of the university, undergraduate or graduate programs and international academic institutions and academicians conducting research in this field, and to contribute to existing practices.
