Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences researchers continue to carry out important projects. In this context, the team working under the supervision of Prof. Sevim Işık, who is faculty member of Üsküdar University Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (English), received acceptance by receiving an A full score within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.

A TÜBİTAK Success by receiving A score in Molecular Biology and Genetics!
Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (English) faculty member Prof. Sevim Işık was entitled to receive support for a new study under the project conduct. Within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program, the project titled "Investigation of Treatment Effectiveness of Topoisomerase IIbeta Overexpressed Human Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cell Derived Exosomes on a Mouse Model of 5XFAD Transgenic Alzheimer's Disease" was accepted with a full score of A.
Those who were among the team of Işık who carried out the project are as follows: faculty member of Medeniyet University Assoc. Prof. Birsen Elibol as consultants, and faculty member of Yeditepe University Prof. Fikrettin Şahin, Üsküdar University Asst. Prof. Cihan Taştan, Yeditepe University Vet. Dr. Engin Sümer, one PhD Scholar and one Master's Scholar as researchers.
