Tarhan visited Gaziantep University Kahraman Eruslu Kidney Transplant Hospital

Upon the invitation of Gaziantep Şahinbey Municipality in Gaziantep, President of Üsküdar University Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan visited Gaziantep University Kahraman Eruslu Kidney Transplant Hospital, which is Turkey's first and only kidney transplant hospital. Within the scope of the visit, Tarhan conducted examinations within the hospital and specifically received information about the work carried out at the Open Field Treatment Center and the Psychosocial Support Center.

During the visit, Tarhan received detailed information from authorities and the expert team about rehabilitation processes carried out in the centers, psychological adaptation studies for chronic kidney disease patients, and support programs applied before and after transplantation.

Tarhan, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach to psychological and social support alongside physical treatment in organ transplantation processes, evaluated the contributions of the Open Field Treatment Center to patients' morale and recovery processes.
