In the 2026-2027 Fall semester, no science (specialization) exam will be held for Thesis/Non-Thesis programs;

• For our Thesis programs, 65% of the ALES score (Numerical type) and 35% of the undergraduate graduation grade point average will be taken into account,
• For Non-Thesis programs, 50% of the undergraduate graduation grade and, if available, 50% of the ALES score in the relevant score type will be taken into account.
• If candidates applying to Non-Thesis programs do not have an ALES score, a score of 55 will be accepted and ranking will be made accordingly.

For the 2026-2027 Fall Semester, our students who have earned the right to final registration from the principal and reserve lists must come to the Student Affairs unit located at the Çarşı Campus with the originals of their application documents, fill out the "Registration Form," and after submitting the following documents, complete their transactions at the accounting unit located at the Central Campus.

6 – A Letter of Reference is not required.

7 – (ALES – NUMERICAL score type, minimum 55.) ÖSYM Exam Result Document or

computer printout. (ALES score is not required from Non-Thesis Program students at the time of registration.)

SPECIAL CONDITIONS REQUIRED OF CANDIDATES

* Students who hold an undergraduate degree outside the field take Scientific Preparation courses.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Students who have graduated from departments such as biology, medicine, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, materials engineering, chemical engineering, and bioengineering at relevant universities may apply to the program. To graduate from the master's program, students must earn at least 120 ECTS within two years (4 semesters) in the Thesis program, or at least 90 ECTS within 3 semesters in the Non-Thesis program. In addition, students will reinforce their laboratory knowledge and culture in a hands-on manner by participating in ongoing laboratory work outside of class hours.

*The thesis fee is included in the Master's and PhD program fees.

The Thesis Master's program fee covers 4 semesters.

The Non-Thesis Master's program fee covers 3 semesters.

Should the above education periods be extended, a scientific preparation course fee will be charged for each additional term.
