ALES Score Type: QUANTITATIVE (SAY)
Dear prospective students;
A subject-specific examination will be held for the PhD programmes;
50% of the candidate’s ALES score in the relevant score type, 30% of the subject-specific examination score, and 20% of the undergraduate (and/or) postgraduate degree GPA will be taken into account.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF FINAL REGISTRATION
- Original or certified copy of the Master’s degree certificate
- Original or certified copy of the Master’s degree transcript
- ALES examination result certificate
- YDS examination result certificate (or equivalent examination result certificate)
- Copy of ID
- Photographs (2 copies)

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Admission to the PhD programme will be carried out by evaluating students who meet the application requirements specified in Article 9 of the Üsküdar University Postgraduate Education, Teaching and Examination Regulations, in accordance with Article 17 of the same regulations.
Accordingly, candidates applying for doctoral programmes must meet the following conditions:
· For the Perfusion Doctoral Programme: Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Perfusion and/or a Master’s degree in Perfusion may apply.
· A minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4-point scale for their Master’s degree,
· A score of at least 55 or an equivalent score in a foreign language examination recognised by the Inter-University Council,
· A minimum score of 55 in the ALES (SAY) examination.
· Additionally, Turkish nationals who have completed a Master’s programme abroad must also obtain an equivalence certificate from the Higher Education Council.
- Applicants will be admitted in order of merit.
