To be an educational unit recognised and preferred at both national and international levels, which cultivates constructive and creative individuals capable of analytical thinking in their field, able to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in clinical practice, and capable of establishing links between science, technology and industry.
Mission
Through the Perfusion Doctorate Programme, guided by universal values, to train academics who meet the needs of the country and humanity by drawing on the body of knowledge in science in general, and specifically in Cardiac Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Intensive Care, Paediatrics, Cardiology, Respiratory Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Interventional Oncology and Perfusion technology; and to ensure that students acquire the ability to generate new knowledge by evaluating the information they obtain through scientific research.
