The aim of the First and Emergency Aid program is to train qualified technicians who are physically healthy and strong, who can make quick and correct decisions, who are careful, cold-blooded and have a strong sense of responsibility, who have high communication skills, who examine the scene and the patient / injured and apply emergency treatment techniques according to their condition, and who can also drive an ambulance.
Purpose of First and Emergency Aid Intervention Laboratory
In line with the above-mentioned objectives, in the First and Emergency Aid Intervention Laboratory, students are taught subjects such as ensuring patient safety to be applied in emergency situations, control of vital signs, parenteral intervention, cardio pulmonary resuscitation, transporting the patient and injured with appropriate methods, use of intervention equipment, case studies are carried out.
In the laboratory, first aid courses taught in other programs are also held, Basic Life Support, Coma Positioning, Shock Positioning, patient / injured transport methods are taught using materials such as models and stretchers.
