Program Outcomes
1. Applies data obtained from the basic natural sciences to problems in all areas covered by molecular biology and genetics.
2. Identifies, defines and interprets problems in the field of Molecular Biology and Genetics; designs experiments and selects and applies appropriate contemporary experimental, analytical and modeling methods; interprets results, archives and analyzes data; and is thus able to use the fundamental knowledge needed to solve potential problems.
3. Develops skills such as collaborating with different national and international disciplines, leadership, communication, teamwork and entrepreneurship.
4. Interprets knowledge and methods in Molecular Biology and Genetics, examines the structural and functional characteristics of living organisms from the perspective of their own scientific field with a contemporary and critical approach, and develops original solutions when necessary.
5. Pursues self-development by following current developments in the field, and acquires lifelong learning skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively in Turkish and English, both orally and in writing.
6. Makes ethical judgments about research methods and their outcomes, develops a sense of responsibility, and gains awareness of the universal and societal impacts and legal consequences of practices in the field of molecular biology and genetics.
