The family, which is the nucleus of society, is a climate in which human psychology develops and is shaped starting from before birth. The emergence and sustainability of healthy individuals and societies depends on the health of the family institution. In this framework, Üsküdar University Family Research and Applications Center aims to contribute to the family phenomenon in our country through the following methods:
- Demographic studies,
- Cultural studies,
- Training activities,
- Family counseling practices before and after marriage,
- Professional ethical studies.
Since 2012, the family counseling profession, which has gained a legal base in our country, is among the primary duties of AİLEMER to train these professionals to be internationally competent due to its structure that produces solutions to Turkish family problems in the shortest and fastest way. Our mission is not only to certify the experts we train in family counseling but also to bring them to the level of their colleagues abroad in subjects such as children, sexuality, economy, law, communication and advanced family counseling techniques that play important roles in the family, to help determine the ethical rules by collaborating with official institutions in family counseling practices in Turkey, and to provide counseling services to our students and employees who are planning marriage or married in our school.
